end block; literally: "ordinary" "bearing block" (Kroll 2015, 396, 91); small bearing block, usually placed on the ends of a bracket arm to support timbers parallel to the building plane. (Guo 2002, 68; Fu 2017, 364; Chen 2010, 348)1
