Gloss
literally: stolen heart or stolen center construction (Kroll 458, 507, 585) successive transverse projection (Guo 2002, 80); a huagong which supports another timber extending perpendicular to the building plane (e.g. huagong, ang) without a crossing timber parallel to the building plane (e.g. guazigong, linggong) (Fu 2017, 368; Chen 2010, 299).2
